Presentation of the building

Banque SYZ has moved its Geneva offices to a building built more than a century ago By taking over the former 6-storey premises of another Swiss bank, they have invested in a unique place that combines tradition, authenticity and modernity. While the building reflects these adjectives, they are also supported by the 300 contemporary artworks from the private collection of the CEO and his wife, which provide a unique setting for the place. The works are mainly displayed in a large atrium, lit by a skylight. This universe offers the 215 employees a unique work place that offers emotion and conviviality.

Emergency lighting concept

In this building dating from the beginning of the last century, which consists of a multitude of rooms, the most sensible and cost-effective solution was a variant that mixed stand-alone luminaires and the use of two energy cabinets. . All in all, with both methods, about 60 marker flags and the same number of luminaires were installed. In addition, about 30 photoluminescent plates were installed to indicate the escape routes. For this complex renovation, we also prepared and delivered about 30 evacuation plans. All of our luminaires use LED technology. This allows us to offer long-lasting and energy-saving installations, in line with the expectations of our time and the desire to provide environmentally friendly products.
