Presentation of the building
In the attractive location of the Garden of Nations, this new building, consisting of 3 connected wings, offers 1200 workplaces for various international organizations in the field of public health. The central connecting area also houses a 250-seat cafeteria-restaurant, as well as a travel agency and other common service entities. This 11-level structure has space that can be modulated according to the evolutionary needs of the organizations that will establish their headquarters there. A parking lot built on the 3 underground floors can accommodate approximately 300 parking spaces. This surprisingly shaped building is designed in reinforced concrete and the floors are made of flat slabs placed on pillars to allow for easily modulated spaces.
Emergency lighting concept
The emergency lighting system for this building is based on the use of four energy cabinets. Each cabinet is located in a technical room in the first basement and serves its sector, one per wing and one for the central core. In the wings, on each floor, there is a relay box that connects the cabinets to the various lighting installations. In total, there are almost a thousand emergency lights installed and more than 500 lighting flags. Other elements, in smaller numbers, were also positioned, such as portable lamps or photoluminescent panels. In addition, the entire emergency system is connected to a remote control centre, a computer that continuously checks the functioning of the installations.
All of our luminaires use LED technology. This technology allows us to offer long-lasting and low energy consumption installations, in line with the expectations of our time and the desire to provide environmentally friendly products.
