Presentation of the building

WIPO's new 1600 m2 conference hall has some 900 seats, state-of-the-art interpretation and projection facilities. The structure, made of wood and steel, prioritizes sustainability, using an all-pine and oak structure sourced mainly from Switzerland, natural light, hybrid ventilation combining natural mechanical means and a cooling system drawing water from Lake Geneva as part of the Geneva-Lac-Nations project.

Emergency lighting concept

The emergency lighting system installed for this large conference room and the adjoining premises is based on the use of 8 energy cabinets from 900 to 3000 VA. These cabinets allow the backup of more than 400 lighting points and lighting fixtures.
