In order to expand the school park of the city of Fribourg, the architects were given the task of implementing a project in a site with a difficult topography, while taking into account the elements of the neighborhood and existing buildings. The architectural firm Dettling Déléraux won the competition with their two-building project. The first building contains 24 classrooms, underground sports halls and administrative rooms. The staggered arrangement of the floors and the central void give the interior a somewhat theatrical character. The aula, dining hall, and specialized classrooms are located in the second, slightly smaller structure. Particular attention was paid to the sound insulation of the rooms in order to provide acoustic comfort to the occupants A double flow system was installed in all rooms
Emergency lighting concept
Logiquement, chaque bâtiment a son système d’éclairage de secours. The smallest building operates with an energy cabinet that distributes power in the event of a grid failure to about 60 spotlights and 20 flags The other building uses two cabinets located in the second basement that are connected to more than 80 spotlights and about 30 flags. In both buildings, portable lamps and photoluminescent plates have been installed. Our lighting fixtures use LED technology. This allows us to offer long-lasting and energy-efficient installations, in line with the expectations of our time and the desire to provide environmentally friendly installations.
